What is the ARCADE

ARCADE is the third International Symposium on Art Craft and Design, officially in 2019 is hosted by Silpakorn University (Thailand)

ARCADE 2019 is the continuation of ARCADESA (International Symposium of Art Craft and Design in South East Asia) which was organized by Indonesia Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta, Indonesia (ARCADESA1, 2017), and Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia (ARCADESA2,2018).

ARCADE 2019 focuses on three creative fields - visual arts, craft, design and related creativity fields that are thought as necessary tools for human enhancement, society development, and policy implementation.

Activities include keynote speakers, research/academic presentations, art exhibition & art critique, technical workshops and study tour. All activities can be submitted through our official format and all papers and art works will be published on ARCADE proceedings. The selected articles approved by international editorial committee will be published on Silpakorn Unversity Journal, the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences Studies (HASSS) which is accredited by Thai Journal Citation Index (TCI 1^st Tier) and Asean Citation Index (ACI).

The benefits of attending ARCADE 2019 include the opportunity to share ideas, network, build competency, pursue certification, and contribute to the advancement of the art, design, and craft profession among practitioners, academicians, and policy makers in Southeast Asia and beyond.
