GEOGRAFIA UMANA

Quest'opera non rappresenta una città, ma la mia vita al suo interno nei 7 anni compresi tra il 2013 e il 2019.

In questi anni ho attraversato alcune delle fasi che compongono il percorso di appropriazione: prima errante, forestiera ed estranea, poi stanziale, cittadina e protagonista.

La mappa rappresenta il modo in cui la mia vita si è progressivamente dilatata nello spazio urbano. Il modo in cui confini e percorsi si sono modificati e ampliati e, insieme a questi, il tessuto delle relazioni umane.

La percezione della città è la somma della visione pubblica e riconosciuta di Firenze con tutte le frammentate visioni private in cui si mescolano sentimenti, legami, gesti e ricordi.

L'azione del camminare, del percorrere lo spazio diventa esperienza, racconto del territorio attraversato.

Operando questa trasformazione ho potuto creare una rappresentazione grafica bidimensionale della mia relazione con Firenze.

L’opera è un processo che si modifica in base a come si modifica e amplia la mia esperienza all’interno di questa città. Al momento risulta incompleta perché mancano all’appello i percorsi e l’area di espansione dal 2020 al momento attuale.

This work does not represent a city, but my life within it in the 7 years between 2013 and 2019.

In recent years I have gone through some of the phases that make up the path of appropriation: first wandering, foreign and foreign, then sedentary, citizen and protagonist.

The map represents the way in which my life has gradually expanded in the urban space. The way in which borders and paths have changed and widened and, together with these, the fabric of human relationships.

The perception of the city is the sum of the public and recognized vision of Florence with all the fragmented private visions in which feelings, bonds, gestures and memories are mixed.

The action of walking, of walking through space becomes experience, a story of the territory crossed.

By making this transformation I was able to create a two-dimensional graphic representation of my relationship with Florence.

The work is a process that changes according to how my experience within this city changes and expands. At the moment it is incomplete because the routes and the expansion area from 2020 to the present moment are missing.

I colori rappresentano tipologie diverse di percorsi.

• Il BLU sono i percorsi fatti nella mia vita lavorativa;

• il VERDE sono i percorsi fatti per necessità materiali;

• il ROSSO sono i percorsi riguardanti la mia vita privata e i miei scambi relazionali.

Vicino alle linee tracciate ci sono dei numeri che rappresentano i punti che per me hanno un valore all'interno della città.

Altri colori rappresentano i confini delle aree che ho attraversato e il loro ampliarsi nel corso degli anni.

• Il ROSA rappresenta i miei confini dal 2013 al 2014;

• il GRIGIO CHIARO rappresenta l'espansione dei miei confini dal 2015 al 2017;

• il GRIGIO SCURO rappresenta l'espansione dei miei confini dal 2018 al 2019.

• The BLUE are the paths taken in my working life;

• GREEN are the paths made for material needs;

• the RED are the paths concerning my private life and my relational exchanges.

Near the lines drawn there are numbers that represent the points that for me have a value within the city.

Other colors represent the boundaries of the areas I have crossed and their expansion over the years.

• PINK represents my boundaries from 2013 to 2014;

• LIGHT GRAY represents the expansion of my borders from 2015 to 2017;

• the DARK GRAY represents the expansion of my borders from 2018 to 2019.
